Terms of Service — Travelito

Last updated:

These terms are the agreement between you and Travelito LLC (“we”, “us”) for the use of the Travelito app. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. What Travelito is

Travelito keeps travel documents you already hold — boarding passes, tickets, hotel bookings, passports, visas, insurance — in one place, reads them, and arranges them into trips.

We do not sell or book anything. Travelito is not a travel agency, a tour operator, an airline, a hotel, a booking site or an insurance intermediary. We take no payment for travel, we hold no reservation on your behalf, and we have no relationship with the airline or hotel that issued your document. Everything in the app is a copy of paperwork you obtained yourself and chose to store with us.

If something is wrong with a booking, the party that sold it to you is the one who can fix it. We cannot change, cancel or refund it.

2. What the app costs

Nothing. Every feature is free. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, you will be told before it applies to you, and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice.

3. Your account

You need an account to keep documents across devices. You must be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly at support@travelito.org if you think someone else has got in.

You may close your account at any time from Account → Privacy & Security → Delete account. What that erases is set out in the Privacy Policy.

4. What the app tells you is not an official source

This is the most important line in this document.

Travelito reads documents automatically — by optical character recognition and by a language model — and automatic reading is sometimes wrong. A gate, a terminal, a time, a date, a seat or a reference number shown in the app may not match the document it came from, and a document you loaded weeks ago may since have been changed by the airline or the hotel.

Before you travel, check the airline, the hotel or the authority that issued the document. Do not rely on Travelito alone for a departure time, a gate, a visa validity or an entry requirement. We do not check your documents against any official source, and we do not tell you whether you are allowed to enter a country.

5. What you may put in it

Your own documents, and documents you are entitled to hold — a travelling companion's boarding pass, a child's passport. Do not upload anyone else's identity documents without their agreement, and do not upload anything unlawful.

You keep every right you already had in what you upload. You give us permission to store it, read it, and process it for one purpose: running the service for you. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing a trip

If you invite someone to a trip, they see that trip and everything you have put in it, including any documents attached to it. Invite only people you mean to show it to. You can remove them, but you cannot unsee what they have already seen.

7. Connecting a mailbox

If you connect an email account, you confirm it is yours and that you may let us read it. We look only for travel bookings. You can disconnect at any time, and doing so stops any further reading immediately.

8. What belongs to whom

The app, its name, its design and its code are ours. These terms give you permission to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as one person, and nothing more. You may not copy it, resell it, take it apart, or use it to build a competing service.

9. What we do not promise

We work to keep the service running and correct, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that every document will be read correctly, or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — a missed flight, a refused boarding, a cancelled booking, a lost holiday — arising out of your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

10. Stopping

You may stop using Travelito at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used unlawfully, or that puts the service or other people at risk — with notice where we reasonably can give it. You can always take your data out or delete it first.

11. Apple

You are getting Travelito through the App Store, so the following applies:

12. Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and where a change matters we tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and its courts have jurisdiction — without taking away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
